Klimatilpasning er højt på agendaen rundt omkring I verden. Kun 150km fra den dansk/tyske grænse møder vi Nordrhein-Westfalen (NRW) I Tyskland, men trods den korte geografiske afstand har vi forskellige tilgange til klimatilpasning. Bør vi være bedre til at søge inspiration i vore nabolande? Hør mere om hvordan NRW arbejder med klimatilpasning, hvor vi også dykker ned I en konkret case fra Dortmund.
Dette webinar er inspireret af DNNK’s studietur som fandt sted I foråret. I webinaret vil vi blive introduceret for hvordan NRW arbejder med klimatilpasning, samtidig med, at vi vil få et indblik i, hvordan vores danske handelskontorer i udlandet arbejder på at understøtte danske virksomheders tilstedeværelse udenfor Danmarks grænser. WTA
WTA EU is a team of local and sector experts supporting Danish water technology companies in selected European markets, including Spain/Portugal, Italy, Poland, Germany, and Sweden. By combining in-market knowledge with Danish water sector expertise and a close collaboration with the Danish water utilities, we help Danish companies connect with the right stakeholders and create opportunities for sales and projects at water utilities. Our focus areas include groundwater, wastewater, and water infrastructure—covering both drinking water and sewage networks.
Ministry of Environment, North Rhine-Westphalia
The Ministry of the Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (MUNV) is part of the government of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia.The Federal Republic of Germany is a union of sixteen federated states. Under the country’s constitution, the “Basic Law”, the states enjoy a high degree of autonomy. They enact their own laws and also play a large role in Federal lawmaking. The Ministry plans and prepares bills that are then submitted to the State Legislature for parliamentary deliberation and enactment. The Ministry applies Federal, State and European Union laws, oversees their implementation and controls the entire process through a variety of executive agencies.Further activities of MUNV are consulting of municipalities and business enterprises and information for private individual. The Ministry of the Environment, Nature and Transport also provides compliance assistance and initiates and supports volunteer activities in North Rhine-Westphalia, for example in the areas of eco-efficiency and conservation.

North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany’s most populous state with over 18 million inhabitants, is served by the Ministry of Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport. Based in Düsseldorf, the ministry is responsible for environmental protection, climate adaptation, nature conservation, and sustainable transport. It develops and implements policies and programmes to strengthen climate resilience, protect natural resources, and support municipalities and regional agencies in adapting to the impacts of climate change.
